This intaglio print is an Artist Proof (AP) created from a dry point etching on acrylic. On the east side of Columbus, there’s an old grain elevator which is no longer used. The signs of disrepair are obvious, but to me, they add to the appeal and interest of the structure. I make a point of seeking it out whenever I’m nearby and noting what’s different since my prior visit. I also find it interesting that the structure is still there, with its nod to farming, in the middle of an urban setting. Printed with soy-based Akua ink on pearl gray Stonehenge paper. Custom framed with an archival mat.
Dimensions: 12.5″ x 12.5″
